What is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)?

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a disorder characterized by above-normal levels of hyperactivity and difficulty with paying attention and controlling impulses. Moreover, it is not limited to a certain age and both adults and children can have this disorder.

First and foremost, children can be very active and dislike sitting still. Nevertheless, especially in times like this when we are forced to spend more time indoors, they can easily get annoyed or bored with the lack of activity. Some children however may have a disorder that makes it harder for them to stay still or concentrate on one activity for a long time.
